Social Studies:Image result for map and globe skills
We will be kicking off this week and teaching your child about Maps and Globes. We will compare and contrast maps and globes, learn about the compass rose, map out the 7 continents and 5 oceans. At home you can discuss how you use a map for driving or going on road trips. If you have any maps you can share that with your child too.

Digital Citizenship:Image result for typing agent
We taught your child about using Chromebooks correctly, going to appropriate sites, being safe on the Internet and showed various addition sites. Your child also learned about Typing Agent or will be learning about Typing Agent. Your child can access this program through our Parkview homepage, clicking on the student tab, click Typing Agent and log in with Google username and password from the assignment book. This is a great resource for your child to practice keyboarding skills at home.
