We are happy to announce our school’s annual Spelling Bee! The week of January 17th our third graders will participate in the preliminary round in our classrooms. All students will participate in the first round that consists of a written test. Then the top 5-10 spellers will move onto an oral spelling bee within their classrooms. The winners and runners up of each classroom will move on to our Parkview School Spelling Bee on Thursday, January 19th at 4:30pm in the Presentation room. All parents are welcome to attend. From there we will take the top 5 spellers to the district wide Spelling Bee on Thursday February 2nd at Webster @ 6pm.
If you would like to practice and prepare your students you can visit www.spellingbee.com or use the lists that their teachers will provide. Good luck!
Below are the list that your child can use to study for the Spelling Bee. If you child wants to prepare, they should study the 3rd grade lists, then move onto the others.
