Third graders kicked off our Mystery Chapter Book Club with solving "real" crimes that were commited in our classrooms. Students gathered clues, collected evidence, and generated suspect lists. Mrs. French's class solved The Great Hershey Bar Mystery, Mrs. Moldenhauer's class solved the Missing Turtle Taz, and Mrs. Studer's class identified where their missing Firebella was hiding! Great job to our 3rd grade detectives on solving their first case. We hope this inspires and generates excitement for our early readers and a new appreciation for "Mystery" genre books.
