Current and Upcoming Learning Goals

Math: Students will learn strategies for solving addition story problems.

Reader's Workshop: Students will learn about the first 20 days and expectations for Reader's Workshop.

Writer's Workshop (Quarter 1): Personal narratives- Students will write about the small, meaningful moments in their lives.

Science: n/a

Social Studies: Studies will learn about working together and getting to know their classroom family.

Word Study: Learning word study principles and practicing our words for a 8 day cycle. Then, your child will apply what he/she learns to his/her daily writing.

*Word Study groups identify word patterns and sort words with teacher. Then, continue stations for practice and application.
