Reminders as we return to school Tuesday, January 3, 2017:
* Please be sure to send winter gear with your child for outdoor recess.
Boots, hats, snowpants, and extra gloves/mittens are recommeded to be brought to school (as they often get wet at the first recess)!
*December's Reading/Math Calendar's are due by Jan. 5. Our Reading Party will be held Friday, Jan.6! Both math and reading minutes are required in order to participate in this celebration. If you have misplaced your calendar, you may print another calendar off our BLOG.
*Third graders will be receiving Cursive Packets for their use at school and at home. Students will receive instruction on correct letter formation. Practice and application can be reinforced at home. We will still encourage printing at school, first and foremost, until your child is proficient, eligible, and neat with printing. In third grade, we expose students to cursive, although our rigorous curriculum does not allow large chunks of time to be dedicated to this skill. Please see your teacher will any questions.
